SERVICE & REPAIR
|
For engines sent back to factory at their recommended regular service interval, we offer a flat rate of USD 200.00* each time. This includes: testing upon arrival, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, bearing change, re-balancing, assembly, testing and re-certification of performance.
Engines sent back to us for service or repairs are subjected to the following procedure:
- Inspection of packing and content of shipment. If any damage due to shipping; images will be taken and forwarded to the customer. (status ARRIVED)
- Visible inspection of parts returned. Any obvious external damage will be documented and forwarded to the customer. (status INSPECTION)
- Disassembly of engine; checking for visible damage and contamination. Any obvious findings will be documented and forwarded to the customer.
- Determination of parts that need replacement. For parts not under warranty, a quotation will be issued by email. (status REPORT)
- After acceptance of cost for service or repair by the customer, work will commence and all parts will be cleaned prior to assembly. (status REPAIR)
- All engines returned to factory for service or repair, will undergo a final bench test and a new test certificate will be issued. A hardcopy of these certificates will be included with the engine to be returned and a softcopy will further be forwarded by email to the customer. (status RETURNED)
The above mention procedure and its status will be published for customer’s reference on our website and updated accordingly.
